The first week of March has seen an increase in grass fires. Crews have already responded to 8 grass fires. 2 of the fires were in Benton County and 1 was in Wheeler.

We will have the annual fire board meeting at 7PM on November 5th. The meeting will be at the wildcat creek station. We will have 2 spots up for reelection.

About Us

Tontitown Area Fire Department responds out of three fire stations.

Fire Station 51 - 141 Zulpo, Tontitown

Fire Station 52 - 2756 Wildcat Creek Boulevard, Tontitown

Fire Station 53 - 1460 West Henri De Tonti Boulevard, Tontitown


Fire Station 51 is staffed Monday – Saturday , 7AM – 7PM by two firefighters. 

After 7PM and on Sunday’s the department is covered by volunteer firefighters.


Tontitown Area Fire Deapartment is made up of 30 volunteer officers and firefighter.

(The City of Tontitiown also has 1 full time Operations Chief (Our Asst. Chief) Monday - Friday at Station 51)

As of July 1st, 2016, The ISO rating inside Tontitown City Limits is Class 4. The current ISO rating outside Tontitown City Limits is Class 5.

Any location outside the city and more than 1000 feet from a fire hydrant is a Class 10

The Tontitown Area Fire Department is under a contract with the City of Tontitown to provide fire, ems, haz/mat and rescue services.
 

Current equipment consists of the following
3 Fire Engines, 3 Brush Units, 2 Engine/Tankers, 2 Rescue/Pumpers, 1 Tanker, 1 Command Car
